Experience our passion for cider
Come and visit us at our Cellar Door in Kunda Park, Sunshine Coast, Queensland..
What to expect
Our Cellar Door is a small and cosy space for up to 25 guests. You can enjoy a tasting paddle or a glass of bubbles and learn about the cider-making process directly from the maker. Come and share our passion for Cider and see what we do.
Our specialty is Méthode Traditionnelle Cider, better known as Champagne-style Cider. We are the only Cidery in Queensland applying the complete Champagne process to our Cider, and we’re very proud of the result.
We process all our Cider on-site, from fermentation to bottling, labelling and packaging. Everything is hand-made using small, hand-operated equipment, including a French tirage line to finish our Champagne-style Cider.
What not to expect
Our location is in a commercial estate in Kunda Park. We’re sorry, but we don’t have apple orchards on rolling hills here. All of our fruit is juiced closer to the trees, on the Granite Belt, to ensure we get the freshest juice for our Cider. And we don’t run a restaurant here either. We can provide you with some nibbles to go with your Cider, but we don’t offer meals.
Tours and group bookings
The best way to see and learn about the Cider and Champagne making process is to book in with a group of friends for a tour and tasting experience or to join one of the many food and wine tours regularly stopping at our place.
A tour, including tastings, takes about an hour. We charge a modest fee which includes a glass of our Brut+ Cider on arrival, a Cidery tour and a tasting of the core range of our Cider and Perry. You may even get to cork a Champagne bottle!
We’re open for tours and groups any time of the week (5 -25 people), but please book ahead. We can host hens nights, car enthusiasts, local community groups, schools, birthdays and most other events at our Cidery.
Make the most of a visit to the Cidery! Talk to the tour operators below and extend the visit to us into a full-day experience of the Sunshine Coast. They also take care of the driving so that you can enjoy our Cider to the fullest.
As a working Cidery, most of the time we are busy making Cider. If we’ve got time (sometimes we can’t walk away from the work we do) we’re more than happy to sell you some Cider, but if you’d like a tasting or to learn about our Cider, please ring ahead and book, or visit us during our official opening hours:
Friday 11 am to 3 pm
Saturday 11 am to 3 pm
